professionally this summer will be awesome,
i just talked to one of the guys from pendant audio http://www.pendantaudio.com/defiant.php#episodes and arranged so i could do the monthly covers for star trek- defiant. been listening to their radio dramas more and more the later i stay up.
jame's friend has written a wwii script that james will pencil, ill ink and robin will letter. it will be interesting to see how are styles mix, since we've never really officially worked together.
ill finally have time to work on michael wood's script (edits for image comics) whom i met on deviant art.
and ill have time to finish writing and record novus terra, which i've been working on with every second of my free time for the 1st half of this semester, and dying to record. we have a sound fx, guy, about 10 voice actors and even one guys who's already done some music for it.
persoanlly, ive been overdrafting like mad and that was scarry. were going to co for 2 weeks, then ny for 2 weeks, then moving once we get back, giving away some of our baby cats and lastly robin might take a oportunity to learn from a real chef, but it would mean being away from me for a while. so much to do not to mention, finish finals - i still have a week left, here i go...

editor's day
mike o'sullivan from devil's due reviewed my portfolio, i showed him my pages from the 2000 ad script and the justin time projects from larrison. i had the pages on the right and then scans with word balloons on the left. it went really well, he said i had "phenomenal energy" and that they just needed to be tightened up, which i could agree with since i did each of the projects in a night. but he really like the composition of the 1st just in time page and said i also need to work on anatomy a bit, some more life drawing. especially my hands, which kind of hurt because i was in hudson's hands class but they have gotten kinda wonky. anyways gave my second appt to james, with someone from alternative comics. im sick now and had to cover for someone at work the same night of editor's day, after i asked for it off. sliced my arm at work and am just so out of it today - fever etc. not to much hw so ill probably rest. when i get the stuff up on deviantart ill post a link.

my 1st table
so i posted last week on deviant art about all the stress before this weekend.
http://xaqbazit.deviantart.com/journal/18210434/
well now its over. artist's alley and the swap meet, both were kinda a flop but both were fun and hey - i wasnt in work so that was good. the bad part was i didnt start working on my books until that night. so it took me till 5 am to print them all out in dyson. then another 2 hrs to cut and staple, and stuff like teh margins not lining up on both sides so the ceners of the pages were off and from page to page theyd be on different sides so id cut pages in half. so i made the books about 30 times when all i needed and all that got finished were 15. many people loved and commented on teh owl hands design and said they wanted to see it in a movie or game. i sold 2 illustration books (one of which to james), traded two, and sold one issue of torn. i ended up doing 2 sequentail books, and one illustration book - but no sketch book. its ok though, we were kinda the odd table out - some people said it made their eyes bleed, but i dont think i could have gotten through something that stressful without james there to lighten things up. heres the pic of my 1st table, robin's prints, james prints (the morbid ones, as usual) and my stuff in the middle - torn, my sketch book, two sequential books and my 24 hr comic (the colored crossword cover).
i also put out my portfolio which got a lot of good marks and robin sold a print too. james did a zombie portrait and outsold me and robin but also knew allot of people that stoped by. robin couldnt be there because of class but it was okay.
i got my 1st waccom tablet at the swap meets as well as teh 1st graphic novels of astonishing x-men that whedon was working on and the authoriy. as well as punisher vs batman by jr.jr. all in all i didnt have to work all weeked so that was cool. now i go to work on my gallows lamp, my ark for gotto and my final for larrison. ill try and post on here from now on so there is a consistent time line.
i cant wait for summer to write the final installments of novus terra, do the posters and finally record it.
